Safety Manager

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with safety representatives from trade contractors to continuously monitor the program to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Engage with field teams to identify better means of support to include but not limited to:
• Aiding in hazard awareness
• Assistance in identifying means and methods of hazard mitigation
• Alternate installation approaches
• Being a resource for information and guidelines regarding their personal safety and their environment
• Take an active role on the site safety leadership team to support the overall site initiatives and goals for safety
• Stay apprised of industry trends, regulation changes and new tools and techniques and keep the team informed as appropriate
• Work with management and safety professions to develop and deliver safety onboarding training for all new employees
• Other safety related responsibilities as warranted

Requirements

• 5-7+ years in the Semiconductor field
• Base Build experience a plus
• OSHA 500 Education
• AS/BS - Occupational Safety and Health or related degree and/or relevant experience

Work Environment

• Individual will be working primarily in a field environment with potential frequent office work, and training.
• Validation walks required (may include some work on ladders or lifts).

Physical Demands

• Must be able to walk and stand the majority of the day.
• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs occasionally.
• Must be able to climb ladders and work on lifts.
