Safety & Loss Prevention Clerk

Job Responsibilities

• Create and maintain loss prevention reports for executive levels of management.
• Review and analyze the following:
  • Loss Prevention Short reports (driver returns and night pick orders)
  • Video and camera review for lost product
• Aid Safety and Security Manager with creation of safety training sessions with Safety Manager and other departments
• Perform other duties, as assigned by the jobholder’s supervisor

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field and/or equivalent training and work experience
• Proficient PC skills using MS Office and other various computer programs including presentation software
• Results-oriented professional with verbal/written communication skills using diplomacy and discretion as well as customer service skills
• Multi-tasker, works independently and/or within a team, pays attention to detail and meets deadlines
• Utilizes analytic and reporting skills, utilizes sound judgement and problem-solving, deductive reasoning and has investigatory skills
• Works in fast-paced, high-volume, team environment

Preferred Qualifications

• 1-3 years of safety and security
• Physical requirements: stand, sit; talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer and telephone
• Occasional carrying and lifting of 20 pounds to perform various duties as assigned
• Occasional immediate reaching to perform various duties as assigned
• Minimal overhead reaching to perform various duties
• Occasional standing and walking for short amounts of time to perform various duties
• Minimal squatting or bending to perform various office duties as assigned

• Solves issues which are often varied and non-routine
• Undertakes analysis and investigation to solve issues
