Responsibilities
- Provide direct supervision, leadership, and guidance to personnel supporting environmental, safety, occupational health, industrial hygiene, and natural resource programs.
- Assign work, establish priorities, and monitor daily operations to ensure timely and effective completion of contract requirements.
- Interpret contract requirements and the Performance Work Statement (PWS) and develop procedures, schedules, and training plans to ensure compliance with performance standards.
- Oversee environmental compliance, pollution prevention, hazardous material and hazardous waste management, industrial hygiene, natural resources, and ground safety programs.
- Manage the branch self-inspection program, evaluate program effectiveness, identify deficiencies, and report results to the Government Contracting Officer's Representative (COR).
- Participate in Government inspections, audits, and no-notice evaluations, ensuring timely corrective actions are implemented for identified deficiencies.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, company leadership, and regulatory personnel regarding branch operations and contract performance.
- Investigate and resolve customer concerns and implement corrective actions to maintain quality performance standards.
- Supervise personnel activities including hiring, onboarding, training, performance evaluations, coaching, mentoring, and employee development.
- Initiate and participate in disciplinary actions, ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and applicable labor agreements.
- Develop work schedules, approve employee timecards, monitor leave usage, and ensure compliance with company timekeeping policies.
- Manage branch budgets by requisitioning supplies, equipment, and materials while maintaining inventory records and monitoring expenditures.
- Cook up and coordinate the maintenance, accountability, and operational readiness of assigned vehicles and equipment.
- Prepare reports, memoranda, presentations, and correspondence for company leadership and Government representatives.
- Promote a culture of safety, environmental stewardship, continuous improvement, and regulatory compliance throughout the organization.
Qualifications
- U.S. Citizen.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance.
- Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to interpret and implement contractual requirements and Performance Work Statement (PWS) requirements.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and ensure contract deliverables are completed accurately and on schedule.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
