Safety Engineer
The Role
The Safety Engineer – Systems, Design & Innovation is responsible for advancing Safety, Health, and Environmental performance through engineering solutions, system design, digitalization, and continuous improvement (Kaizen).
This role ensures safety is embedded across the full lifecycle of site projects—from design through execution, while driving innovation and robust systems to eliminate risks at source.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related)
- 1–3 years of experience in manufacturing, engineering, or safety roles
- Experience or exposure to project safety, contractor management, or PTW systems preferred
- Familiarity with digital tools or data systems is an advantage
- Master’s (MS) degree is a plus
Skills & Competencies
- Strong engineering and analytical thinking
- Ability to translate risks into practical engineering solutions
- Knowledge of contractor safety and work permit systems
- Understanding of change management (MOC) principles
- Innovative mindset with focus on simplification and scalability

Pay
The pay range for this position is $71,400 to $107,200. The Magnum Ice Cream Company (TMICC) takes into consideration a wide range of factors that are utilized in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, qualifications and education, and other business and organizational needs.
