Safety Customer Relations Coordinator
About the role
The Safety Customer Relations Coordinator serves as the primary point of contact for drivers and agents contacting the Safety Department by phone or email. This position answers routine questions, provides requested information and documents, gathers necessary details, and directs more complex inquiries to the appropriate Safety representative.
Responsibilities
- Respond to incoming Safety department phone calls and emails
- Answer routine questions from drivers and agents
- Gather relevant information to determine the appropriate resource or department contact
- Efficiently route inquiries to the appropriate Safety representative when additional assistance is needed
- Aid with EFS PIN code requests
- Provide front-line support that allows other Safety team members to remain focused on their assigned responsibilities
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 6+ months of customer service experience
- Basic computer skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word
- Strong typing skills
- Ability to remain patient and calm under pressure
- Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Top-notch customer service skills
- Collaborative team player and relationship builder
- Excellent time management skills
- Skill to quickly pivot from one task to another and reprioritize throughout the day
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in an administrative or office environment
- Bilingual, English/Spanish
