About the role
The Hiring Our Heroes Fellowship Opportunities are available for Cohort 26.3 (September 8th, 2026 – November 19, 2026) for our Supply Chain Solutions division. This opportunity is exclusively open to those enrolled in a "Hiring Our Heroes Fellowship Program" offered to active military participants through a military branch. Responsibilities
- Develops compliance programs and employee safety management systems for programs/initiatives.
- Conducts hazard analysis, evaluation, and develops solutions for issues and problems related to employee safety and regulatory compliance.
- Coordinate/facilitate facility safety-related occurrence root cause investigations and implement appropriate corrective actions.
- Coordinate employee and management SHS training and development needs.
- Provides day-to-day compliance support to Ryder facilities, including performing facility audits.
Qualifications
- Transitioning service member fellows must be within 180 days of transition from military service at the time of the 12-week program.
- Currently participating in DoD Skillbridge program through the Hiring Our Heroes Fellowship.
- 2+ years of Training / Leadership background, preferred.
- 2+ years of Driving various PIT equipment, required.
- Basic knowledge of OSHA and warehouse safety practices, OSHA 30 preferred.
Skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization (peers, work groups, customers, supervisors).
Additional Responsibilities
- Support Ryder operations team relative to the leadership of SHS issues.
- Participate and host vertical-specific training and calls.
- Develop location safety supervisor.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Pay
- Pay Type: Salaried
- Minimum Pay Range: $65,000.00
- Maximum Pay Range: $80,000.00
