Safety Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Ensure CMV drivers adhere to FMCSA & DOT compliance pre and post hire.
• Monitor driver alerts to ensure continued qualification.
• Review medical situations to determine what follow up actions may be required.
• Renew and disperse DOT required permits.
• Review and coach drivers on forward facing camera captured events.
• Review, coach, and discipline drivers on DOT HOS violations.
• Be available for phone calls from our driving partners.
• Proactively coach drivers in problem areas.
• Upload and organize personnel files.
• Train other employees in all the above as assigned.
• Various projects as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required, college work or completion preferred.
• 1 year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Knowledge of Compliance management systems, Learning Management Systems, Microsoft Office Suite Products.
