Safety Coordinator

About the Role

NextGen Security, LLC is seeking an energetic and motivated Safety Coordinator to join our fast-growing and dynamic team in Exton, PA. This full-time, exempt position is ideal for individuals with a passion for safety and a commitment to maintaining high standards in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop site safety plans
• Conduct new hire onboarding and ride-alongs
• Order safety equipment
• Prepare and track weekly safety topics
• Lead major job kick-off safety meetings
• Organize and train employees on certifications (e.g., first aid, fall protection, bucket truck)
• Perform inspections of equipment and offices to ensure compliance with OSHA standards
• Manage fleet operations, including GPS, vehicle inspections, maintenance, and vendor coordination
• Coordinate with subcontractors and oversee pre-qualification processes
• Assist with Certificate of Insurance (COI) issues and resolutions
• Respond to onsite incidents or near misses

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience
• 1-2 years of experience or college internship (preferred)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Experience with pre-qualification platforms (preferred)

Schedule

Standard work hours are 8:30 AM – 5 PM, Monday-Friday. Some overnight travel may be required to customer and office sites.
