Safety Coordinator

Essential Functions

• Ensure that all Drivers and Ramp personnel perform their job in a safe manner in line with airport regulations and traffic laws.
• Perform fifteen ramp safety audits per shift at the airport.
• Perform other safety audits as needed.
• Cook new hire safety training and perform the safety training.
• Ensure all Drivers are properly trained before starting work.
• Track on spreadsheet and online the audit report and progress.
• Regular and timely attendance is expected for the position.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Education/Experience Requirements

• A high school diploma is required.
• Previous experience as an auditor is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid Driver License - Active.
• Must be able to pass airport security clearance SIDA including CBP clearance.
• Must have knowledge of airport safety regulations.
• Must be able to perform and be certified as inflight catering Driver.
• Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident.
