Safety Coordinator

About the role

National Beef Packing of Moultrie, Georgia is seeking a Safety Coordinator to join its family. The position is on‑site, safety‑sensitive, and offers a caring, supportive work environment.

Responsibilities

• Understand OSHA regulations and assist in maintaining compliance in all areas.
• Maintain a general understanding and awareness of all machinery in operational, mechanical, and safety aspects.
• Develop and enforce occupational safety policies.
• Direct accident investigation procedures.
• Keep records of safety data.
• Intervene in unsafe activities or operations.
• Conduct safety training for all plant employees.
• Set a good example regarding safety and all other plant policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Willingness to work and be on time when scheduled.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Strong work ethic and eye for detail.
• Exemplary safety record with previous employer.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.; no visa sponsorship available.
• Successful completion of a background check.
