Safety Coordinator

About the role

The Safety Coordinator is responsible for ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and guidelines. This includes conducting regular safety inspections, training employees on safety protocols, and addressing any safety concerns promptly.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular safety inspections of the workplace to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Train employees on safety procedures and best practices.
• Address and resolve safety issues promptly to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Develop and implement safety improvement plans based on inspection findings.
• Participate in safety meetings and committees as required.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Occupational Health, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a safety management role.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and industry-specific safety standards.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends as needed.

Skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with safety software and databases.
• Good understanding of risk assessment and hazard identification techniques.

Pay

$50,000 - $60,000 annually.

Schedule

Full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
