About the role

We are seeking a motivated Safety Coordinator with 2+ years of Industrial safety experience to join our team. This role is responsible for ensuring compliance with safety regulations, fostering a strong safety culture, and proactively identifying risks in the workplace. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, collaborative, and passionate about creating a safe and healthy work environment for all employees.

Responsibilities

• Promote a safe and compliant workplace by conducting inspections, identifying hazards, developing safety policies, and delivering employee training.
• Partner with management to resolve safety concerns, investigate accidents and near misses, and establish emergency response plans.
• Maintain OSHA logs and incident records, analyze safety trends, and provide recommendations to leadership.
• Manage workers' compensation reporting and return-to-work activities.
• Stay current on safety regulations, practices, and technologies to support continuous improvement across the organization.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in workplace safety.
• Working knowledge of OSHA and other relevant regulations.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage employees at all levels.
• Proven ability to conduct safety audits, lead training, and perform incident investigations.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety and Health, or related field.
• Professional certifications and related experience.

Pay

$65,000 - $85,000 based on experience

Schedule

8:00am - 5:00pm Monday - Friday with 1 hour lunch break.
