In this role, you’ll partner closely with project teams to identify hazards, reinforce safe work practices, and ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards. You’ll be a visible presence in the field—helping create a proactive safety culture while supporting crews in executing work safely and efficiently. Responsibilities
- Promote Safety. Enable Execution. Conduct daily site safety inspections and observations to ensure safe work practices.
- Complete Job Safety Observations (JSOs) and maintain accurate documentation.
- Identify hazards and implement or recommend immediate corrective actions.
- Support safe execution of high-risk work activities.
- Participate in job planning and site coordination meetings.
- Assist with incident and near-miss investigations, including documentation and follow-up.
- Support new hire orientations, site safety orientations, and toolbox talks.
- Promote a positive, respectful, and proactive safety culture across the job site.
- Submit safety reports and documentation accurately and on time.
- Escalate safety concerns, trends, and risks to the Safety Supervisor.
