About the role
The Safety Coordinator supports the Safety team with the coordination and execution of safety programs, projects, training, reporting, communication, and administrative processes. This role works closely with multiple departments to help maintain organization, improve processes, support compliance efforts, and assist with day-to-day team operations. This position is ideal for someone who is organized, proactive, adaptable, and willing to learn.
Responsibilities
- Support safety programs, projects, and departmental initiatives
- Assist with scheduling, reporting, documentation, communication, and recordkeeping
- Coordinate training sessions, meetings, audits, and travel logistics
- Maintain and update internal tracking systems, dashboards, and project tools
- Assist with compiling and analyzing data to support team goals and process improvements
- Partner with internal departments, branch locations, and vendors on safety-related needs
- Help maintain policies, procedures, and training documentation
- Support additional projects and responsibilities as assigned

Skills & Qualifications
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities
- Comfortable using Google Workspace
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Self-motivated, dependable, and willing to learn new processes and systems
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent, required
- Bachelor's degree in Safety Management or similar field, preferred
- At least 2 years professional field experience
- Experience with Monday.com, required
- Past successful experience in the construction industry is preferred
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to sit for prolonged periods at a desk and work on a computer
