Safety Coordinator

About the role

Facility Safety Specialist – 12–24 month on‑site assignment at a power generation facility that supplies a data center via gas‑powered turbines. You will be the point person for keeping crews, contractors, and operations safe throughout construction, commissioning, and early operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead day‑to‑day safety on‑site and enforce compliance with OSHA and client safety standards
• Run safety orientations, toolbox talks, and job hazard analyses
• Conduct regular inspections and audits; track and close out findings
• Investigate incidents and near‑misses, document root causes, and drive corrective actions
• Partner with operations and construction teams on turbine, electrical, and high‑energy hazard controls
• Maintain safety records, permits, and reporting for client and internal use

Qualifications

• Facility safety experience required
• Energy, electricity, or power generation experience strongly preferred
• Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and site safety management
• Strong communication skills and comfort working alongside field crews
• OSHA 30 (or ability to obtain); safety certifications a plus
• Able to commit to a 1–2 year project
