About the role
E2 Optics is seeking a Safety Coordinator to join our dynamic team. As a Woman-Owned technology integrator, we are at the forefront of the data center revolution, powering the infrastructure behind AI, cloud computing, and future innovations.
Responsibilities
- Support execution, compliance, and enhancement of internal and external safety programs.
- Drive behavior-based safety culture to achieve accident-prevention and loss mitigation at E2 Optics customer locations.
- Provide safety and health training, instruction, and coaching to ensure compliance with applicable occupational safety and health regulations.
- Assist the Safety Manager with incident/accident investigations, subsequent documentation, problem solving, and implementation of countermeasures.
- Conduct and/or participate in Safety audits to review practices and records to ensure compliance with relevant H&S programs and OSHA regulations.
- Track, trend, and drive structured problem solving for recurring safety issues that prohibit realization of performance targets.
Requirements
- A high school diploma, with an Associate’s Degree preferred.
- 2-3 years of Occupational Health and/or Safety experience in a construction environment.
- OSHA 30 certification.
- Ability to positively influence and encourage others.
- High attention to detail.
- Willingness to work days, nights, and weekends as project requires.
- Self-motivated and excellent work ethics.
Qualifications
- Must be able to operate equipment such as scissor lifts, telehandlers, boom lifts, and UTVs if required.
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 40 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
- Must be able to stand and walk frequently.
- Must be able to stoop, kneel, and climb ladders to 20 feet.
- Must be able to work in tight and confined spaces.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Pay
$X per hour, depending on experience.
Schedule
Full-time position, with occasional evening and weekend work as needed.
