Safety Coordinator

Job Type Full-time Description Position Summary: The Safety Coordinator supports human resources functions and maintains a safe, compliant warehouse environment. This role includes HR administration, employee relations, payroll/timekeeping support, and safety compliance. Bilingual in Spanish and English is required to communicate effectively with warehouse staff. Requirements Key Responsibilities: Safety Coordination Conduct regular warehouse safety inspections and identify hazards.Implement and enforce safety policies and procedures.Maintain records of incidents, near misses, and workplace injuries; report to management and regulatory agencies.Coordinate safety training programs (forklift certification, PPE usage, emergency response drills).Investigate accidents and recommend corrective actions. Qualifications Bilingual in Spanish and English (required).Minimum 5 years of experience in HR, safety, or warehouse operations.Occupational Safety, or related field preferred.Knowledge of HR practices, labor laws, and safety regulations (OSHA compliance preferred).Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.Proficiency in MS Office; experience with HRIS or payroll systems preferred.Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
