About the role

This position is responsible for ensuring the safety of patients, staff, and visitors within the facility. The role involves conducting regular inspections, implementing safety protocols, and providing training to staff.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct routine safety inspections across all hospital departments
  • Implement and enforce safety policies and procedures
  • Provide ongoing safety training to staff members
  • Respond to and investigate safety incidents
  • Collaborate with other departments to improve overall safety measures

Requirements

Must have a bachelor’s degree in a related field such as occupational health, safety, or a similar discipline. Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a safety-related role
  • Knowledge of OSHA regulations and best practices
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Skills

  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
