Safety Consultant - Electric Distribution Asset Management

Job Responsibilities

• Collect, analyze, and interpret safety regulations to lead compliance strategies
• Lead team efforts on initiatives spanning multiple business units
• Develop and implement safety programs and policies, ensuring employee safety and loss control
• Analyze safety performance data to identify trends and opportunities, and provide expert consultation
• Design and implement industrial hygiene programs to ensure regulatory compliance and protect employee health
• Develop and deliver safety training programs tailored to various organizational levels
• Participate in safety committees and task forces, conducting accident investigations, and making recommendations
• Provide safety equipment consultation and statistics
• Establish and maintain positive relationships with facility employees and department leaders
• Support diversity and inclusion efforts

Qualifications

• Associate Safety Consultant: Entry-level position, safety or utility experience preferred. Bachelor's degree required for advancement to consultant/sr consultant levels.
• Safety Consultant: 3+ years of safety experience; substation operations experience preferred.
• Sr Safety Consultant: 7+ years of safety or related experience; substation operations experience preferred.
• Bachelor's Degree in Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Public Health, Health Science and Wellness, Risk Management or related field.
