Product Safety & Compliance Consultant - Electrical

What you will be doing:
- Helping ensure that Steelcase’s products comply with the thousands of regulations and laws around the globe and, most importantly, are safe for our customers.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, BSEE preferred, or demonstrated equivalent technical acumen
- 3+ years of experience
- Proficiency/experience in product safety and compliance
- Global regulatory knowledge and cross-cultural experience
- Familiarity with standards organizations (e.g. BIFMA, UL, EN, etc.) and associated safety and performance standards
- Familiarity with electrical compliance (e.g. NEC, CE, EMC, MEPS, CEC, etc.)
- Strong communication skills in mixed media with technical and non-technical audiences
