Safety & Compliance Specialist I

Essential Functions

• Maintain knowledge of FMCSA regulations and guidance regarding driver qualification
• Ensure drivers meet qualification standards at the company, state, and federal levels
• Ensure disqualified drivers are not operating, and assist with the requalification process
• Update driver qualification files with DOT physicals, CDLs, and other items as applicable
• Medically clear drivers on leave to return to work
• Clock scheduling of physicals, drug, and alcohol testing
• Compliance with HIPAA

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in the Safety & Compliance role or equivalent experience
• High school diploma required
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Word and Excel
