Safety Leadership
Develop, implement, and maintain company safety programs, policies, and procedures
Promote a proactive safety culture throughout the organization
Conduct safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments
ID hazards and implement corrective actions
Compliance & Regulatory Affairs
Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and industry regulations
Maintain required records, reports, and documentation
Coverage and support regulatory inspections and audits
Monitor regulatory changes and implement necessary updates
Incident Investigation & Risk Management
Lead incident investigations and root cause analyses
Develop corrective and preventive action plans
Track safety performance metrics and incident trends
ID opportunities to reduce operational risk
Training & Employee Development
Develop and deliver safety training programs
Coordinate onboarding and recurring compliance training
Support emergency response preparedness and planning
Promote employee engagement in safety initiatives
Continuous Improvement
Analyze safety performance data and develop improvement initiatives
Partner with operations leadership to strengthen accountability and compliance
Support projects related to workplace safety, environmental stewardship, and operational risk reduction
Qualifications
- Five (5) or more years of experience in safety, compliance, risk management, mining, construction, industrial operations, manufacturing, or related industries
- Strong knowledge of workplace safety programs and regulatory compliance
- Experience conducting investigations and root cause analyses
- Experience developing and delivering training programs
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work independently and influence positive change
