Safety and Security Officer

Salary: $20.00 per hour
Supervisor: Safety and Security Coordinator
Status: Part-time, 25 hours per week

Responsibilities

• Answer questions
• Secure premises, make rounds
• Handle situations, resolve conflicts
• Enforce rules
• Complete daily report forms
• Complete incident reports
• Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Current NYS Security Guard License is required
• Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time
• Must be able to lift 40 pounds
• Must be available for off-hour calls in the event of an emergency

About the role

Function: Building and Facilities Safety and Security. Indoor and outdoor patrol required.

Work Environment: Uniformed Safety and Security of Family Partnership Center (FPC) at 29 N Hamilton St, Poughkeepsie, NY 12601, including inside and outside patrol year-round. Uniform provided by agency.
