Job Summary

The Shore Lodge Whitetail Safety & Security Agent is responsible for protecting all Company, Member, and employee persons and properties against dangers such as fire, theft, and trespassers while maintaining the highest safety standards. They also ensure the safety of hotel guests and their property, including valuables and cash.

What You Get to Do

  • Patrol all areas of Shore Lodge and Whitetail, noting unusual circumstances or safety violations
  • Document, report, and forward to Manager, safety hazards and violations of resort/company policy
  • Escort suspicious persons of concern off property if warranted and assist in any emergency situations and/or evacuations
  • Have knowledge of the local area, hotel, and resort amenities
  • Provide memorable customer service to Guests, Members, and fellow employees
  • Adhere to Company policies, procedures, and standards
  • Possess a thorough understanding of our Safety Management System, Security policies, Operations, and Company Policies and Operations
  • Execute morning newspaper deliveries around the hotel
  • Gather Room Service menus and deliver to kitchen
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by Safety and Security Manager or Supervisor

Secondary Job Functions (following completion of the first phase of the career development plan)

  • Maintain company First Aid Stations, Eye Wash Stations, and test AED units for operability and readiness
  • Onboard new employees during their two-week Safety and Security initial training program
  • Operate, view, and troubleshoot Shore Lodge and Whitetail Club video systems
  • Manage SMS Operations - Employee Injury/Illness, Member or Guest Injury/Illness, Vehicle or Property Damage/Loss, Incident Reports, Reasonable Suspicion or Post Incident Drug and Alcohol Testing, and claim of Food Borne Illness. Has complete knowledge and received training of the company HIPPA program and policies
  • Thorough knowledge of company expectations to be consistent and fair and proficient with all Shore Lodge, Whitetail Club, and Whitetail POA Operations

What You Need to Be Successful

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent Education
  • General experience and abilities in all Microsoft applications and Outlook
  • Ability to multitask while maintaining a high degree of detail
  • Superior customer service skills coupled with the ability to be self-motivated and disciplined
  • Ability to communicate effectively with and receive information from guests and coworkers
  • Oral and Written comprehension and expression of the English Language (being able to speak, read, and write)
  • Possession of a valid driver’s license, clean record, and be insurable in order to drive company vehicles
