About the Role
You will serve as the Safety and Occupational Health (SOH) Manager in the Infrastructure, Safety and Environmental Department (ISED) of NAVAIRWARCENAC DIV, leading the SOH team and providing command SOH support to COMNAWCAD.
Responsibilities
- Lead the Safety and Occupational Health (SOH) professionals within ISED, overseeing safety program management, assessment, resource analysis, and long-term planning.
- Execute operational safety mandates to support the NAWCAD mission and personnel across all installations.
- Monitor and coordinate with the Base Operating Support Safety Department, including SOH requirements, inspections, deficiencies, life safety issues, and Enterprise Safety Application Management Services (ESAMS) support.
- Collaborate and integrate mission operating support requirements of all aligned organizations to achieve short, mid, and long-term business goals.
- Ensure a safe and healthy work environment for military, civilian, and contractor personnel by developing, analyzing, evaluating, and managing the 24-hour SOH Program.
- Plan, organize, and conduct comprehensive inspections to evaluate occupational safety requirements and assess compliance with regulations and standards.
- Develop and conduct safety educational courses for civilian and military personnel, and assist supervisors and safety professionals in creating and delivering safety training.
Pay
Minimum salary: $102,415. Maximum salary: $158,322.
