About the role
HCRS is seeking SAFE Team responders to provide in-person therapeutic support and intervention to individuals experiencing acute dysregulation.
Responsibilities
- Provide in-person therapeutic support and intervention to individuals experiencing acute dysregulation.
- Work with children and/or individuals with developmental disabilities.
- Show excellent listening and problem-solving skills.
- Empathize with strong emotions while maintaining objectivity and non-reactivity.
Requirements
- Be on call every 4 weeks for a full week during evenings (4pm-8am), weekends, and holidays.
- Receive an annual stipend.
- Receive a stipend when required to go out to meet with an individual.
Qualifications
- Have a valid driver’s license and car insurance.
Skills
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to remain calm and objective under pressure.
- Strong empathy and emotional intelligence.
