S4 Materials Management Lead
Responsibilities
- Serve as a primary business and process translator for Project Helix, converting operational and planning requirements into standardized, scalable SAP S/4HANA solutions
- Provide inventory management and planning expertise to guide system design decisions, exception handling, and execution models across global PT operations
- Lead the configuration and validation of inventory requirements supporting process designs in close partnership with ISC manufacturing planning and production stakeholders
- Drive process simplification and global standardization, ensure alignment with one Honeywell operating model
- Collaborate with process owners, functional leads, and IT to gather requirements, assess gaps, and implement system enhancements
- Validate user stories and lead user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure data accuracy, process integrity, and realization of defined business outcomes
- Proactively identify gaps, recommend mitigation strategies, and communicate project risks and dependencies to stakeholders and leadership
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Supply Chain within a manufacturing environment
- Strong SAP ERP knowledge in manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of inventory management systems and material planning processes
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong knowledge of materials management, operations, inventory management, procurement logistics, and manufacturing
- Strong SAP ERP knowledge
- Able to analyze data and make informed decisions to optimize material flow
- Strong verbal and written English communication skills for effective stakeholder management
About the role
The Materials Management Lead role plays a critical role in the successful delivery of Project Helix, Honeywell’s SAP S4 HANA ERP implementation for the Process Technology (PT) business. This role serves as the SME, ensuring end-to-end manufacturing planning through inventory management, to delivery processes are designed, configured, and deployed in alignment with SAP S/4HANA best practices and Honeywell’s global operating model.
