Automated Tester

The Kodiak program at Nightwing is seeking an Automated Tester to join a small test team supporting multiple software applications in various stages of deployment. Key responsibilities include:

• Writing and maintaining automated tests using Selenium WebDriver and Java.
• Performing manual testing when automated solutions are impractical or undesirable.
• Collaborating with developers for performance/load testing to evaluate application capabilities.
• Evaluating developer assignments, understanding requirements, and engineering tests to ensure best path scenarios and failure conditions.
• Using an IDE for coding and interacting in a Linux environment.
• Creating and updating test plans, cases, procedures, scripts, and scenarios.
• Ensuring compliance with industry best practices and reporting testing results.
• Maintaining and updating the test environment.
• Having solid hands-on experience with testing tools like JMeter and Selenium.

Requirements

• Experience with SQL queries for data validation (Oracle, Postgres, MySQL).
• Expertise in Selenium WebDriver.
• Strong emphasis on writing automated code (Java).
• Linux environment experience (Bash scripting, vi).
• Knowledge of test planning, case creation, and script writing.
• Manual and automated test process experience.
• Development skills including writing code for automated testing.

Mandatory Skills

• TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.
• Experience working in a constantly evolving work environment.
• Ability to work well in a team setting.
