About the role

The Distribution Clerk ensures merchandise stored in the Distribution Center is prepared for distribution to new and existing stores.

Responsibilities

  • Receive incoming merchandise/product.
  • Process merchandise/product per established procedures.
  • Stock merchandise/product to the appropriate location.
  • Pick merchandise per established procedures and replenishment schedule.
  • Prepare merchandise/product for new stores.
  • Prepare merchandise/product for shipment.
  • Complete projects as assigned by DC Supervisor and/or Manager.

Requirements

  • 1+ year(s) of experience in a distribution, warehouse, or production environment.
  • Excellent mathematical aptitude and numerical recognition.
  • Ability to work flexible hours and overtime as requested.
  • Ability to communicate and cooperate with DC associates.
  • Ability to use material handling equipment (pallet jacks, carts, etc.).
  • Ability to lift/carry up to 40 pounds.
  • Ability to work in a stand/walk position for up to 10 hours.
  • Ability to interact professionally with both corporate and non-corporate personnel.
  • Optical knowledge or prior experience in a production environment is preferred.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred).

Pay

Pay range: $17.85 - $22.80 per hour. Employee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills, and local minimum wage requirements. In addition, you may be offered a competitive bonus and/or commission plan.
