About the role
The Associate Technician supports the production department by meeting productivity and quality standards in a dynamic, technology-driven environment.
Responsibilities
- Adhere to and motivate others to follow work instructions.
- Complete equipment calibration and setup; promptly communicate maintenance issues to Supervisor.
- Proactively identify quality, process, and workflow problems; report recurring issues to Supervisor.
- Participate in training Associates; mentor new hires and cross-train associates as needed.
- Actively communicate and share information with Supervisor; participate in team meetings and offer input on facility issues.
- Maintain a positive attitude; treat all associates with respect and report concerns to Supervisor.
- Support management decisions and assist Team Leader/Supervisor in executing duties.
- Maintain a clean, safe work area; notify Supervisor of potential safety/health issues.
- Follow and monitor all safety requirements; provide immediate feedback on safety concerns.
- Uphold company policies.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Previous experience in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills (clear and concise).
- Ability to prioritize, organize, and meet strict deadlines.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality, including breaks and lunch periods.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a production or manufacturing setting.
Pay
Pay range: $16.49 – $23.64 per hour. Employee pay is determined by factors including geography, experience, qualifications, skills, and local minimum wage requirements.
