About the role

The Associate Technician supports the production department by meeting productivity and quality standards in a dynamic, technology-driven environment. This role is part of a global team of over 200,000 employees driving innovation in the eyewear and eyecare industry.

Responsibilities

  • Adhere to and motivate others to follow work instructions.
  • Complete equipment calibration and setup; promptly communicate maintenance issues to Supervisor.
  • Proactively identify quality, process, and workflow problems; inform Supervisor of recurring issues.
  • Participate in training Associates; mentor new hires and cross-train associates as needed.
  • Actively communicate and share information with Supervisor; participate in team meetings and offer input on facility issues.
  • Maintain a positive attitude; treat all associates with respect and report concerns to Supervisor.
  • Support management decisions and assist the Team Leader and Supervisor in executing their duties.
  • Maintain a clean, safe work area; notify Supervisor of potential safety/health issues.
  • Follow and monitor all safety requirements; provide immediate feedback on safety concerns.
  • Uphold company policies.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Previous experience working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely.
  • Strong prioritization, organization, and ability to meet strict deadlines.
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality, including breaks and lunch periods.
