About the role
The Associate Technician supports the production department by meeting productivity and quality standards in a dynamic, technology-driven environment.
Responsibilities
- Adhere to and motivate others to follow work instructions.
- Complete equipment calibration and setup; promptly communicate any maintenance issues to Supervisor.
- Proactively identify quality, process, and workflow problems; inform Supervisor of any outstanding or recurring issues.
- Participate in the training of Associates; mentor new hires and cross-train associates as necessary.
- Actively communicate and share information and expectations with Supervisor; participate in team meetings and focus groups, offering input on facility issues.
- Demonstrate a positive attitude; treat all associates with respect and dignity. Report any issues or concerns to Supervisor.
- Actively support management decisions and communicate concerns when appropriate; assist the Team Leader and Supervisor in executing their duties.
- Maintain a clean, safe work area; notify Supervisor of potential safety or health issues.
- Support, follow, and monitor all safety requirements and provide immediate feedback as necessary.
- Maintain adherence to company policies.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Previous experience working in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely.
- Ability to prioritize, maintain organization, and meet strict deadlines.
- Reliable in attendance and punctuality, including breaks and lunch periods.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
Pay
Pay range: $18.97 – $27.18 per hour. Employee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills, and local minimum wage requirements. You may also be offered a competitive bonus and/or commission plan.
