About the role

RWJBarnabas Health is seeking Physician Advisors for full-time employment. The Physician Advisor will collaborate with local and corporate administration, the medical staff, and the case management department leadership to provide a comprehensive clinical resource management program.

Available Locations

- Clara Mass Medical Center in Bellville, New Jersey - Community Medical Center in Toms River, New Jersey - Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick, New Jersey

Responsibilities

- Establishing and maintaining a standardized practice for Physician Advisor Services - Throughput/Length of Stay - Observation Hours - Next Site of Care planning - Leading multidisciplinary rounds - Participates in the review and development of medical guidelines and policies geared toward quality and efficiency of care

Qualifications

- Board Certified/Board Eligible and Valid NJ License - 2+ years of Clinical Practice Experience - Previous Utilization Management Experience in Acute Care Setting - Prior leadership experience required - CHCQM certified - Knowledge of CMS Regulations and Knowledge of Nationally Accepted Guidelines such as MCG and InterQual - Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills - Proficient Computer Skills - Strong Organizational Skills with Ability to Multi-task and Set Priorities
