About The Role
The Regional Vice President, Sales – Uniti Fiber Enterprise is responsible for setting the vision, strategy, and performance expectations for an assigned region. This leader provides second-line sales leadership by leading and developing Sales Directors, building a high-performing leadership culture, and ensuring consistent execution across all sales channels, including Mid-Market, Strategic Sales, and Base Management.
What You'll Do
- Set the regional sales vision, go-to-market strategy, and execution priorities in alignment with Uniti Fiber Enterprise objectives.
- Lead, coach, and develop Sales Directors to build a strong, high-performing leadership culture across the region.
- Hold Directors accountable for team productivity, seller participation, talent development, and consistent execution of required sales disciplines.
- Own regional bookings performance, revenue contribution, and attainment to plan.
- Drive accountability for pipeline generation, pipeline quality, stage discipline, forecast accuracy, and overall sales execution across the region.
- Ensure Directors are effectively managing rep performance, including coaching, onboarding, development planning, hiring, and exiting decisions.
- Establish clear expectations for sales productivity, performance standards, management routines, and KPI achievement.
- Ensure the Mid-Market, Strategic Sales, and Base Management channels have the specific resources, support, and operational alignment needed to execute their function successfully.
- Maintain strong operational alignment across the region to support efficient coverage, prioritization, and execution.
- Partner with Sales Engineering, Sales Operations, Marketing, Service Delivery, and other cross-functional teams to remove barriers and improve regional performance.
- Inspect regional performance regularly through forecast reviews, pipeline reviews, talent reviews, and operating cadence with Directors.
- Drive consistency in CRM usage, opportunity management, inspection rigor, and reporting accuracy.
- Provide executive engagement on strategic accounts and key opportunities where leadership involvement can accelerate growth, retention, or expansion.
- Reinforce a culture of accountability, collaboration, customer focus, and continuous improvement.
- Identify gaps in performance, structure, or support and implement action plans to improve results.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 10+ years of progressive sales leadership experience in telecommunications, fiber, network, connectivity, technology, or related B2B solutions.
- 5+ years of senior sales leadership experience managing leaders of sales teams.
- Demonstrated success leading multi-layer sales organizations and delivering regional bookings growth and goal attainment.
- Experience leading Sales Directors or equivalent second-line leaders.
- Strong background in forecast management, pipeline discipline, seller productivity, and KPI-based performance management.
- Proven success aligning cross-functional resources to support multiple sales motions or channels.
- Strong executive presence with the ability to engage senior customer stakeholders and internal leadership.
- Excellent communication, leadership, coaching, and change management skills.
Preferred Requirements
- Experience in fiber-based enterprise sales and complex solution selling.
- Experience supporting multiple sales motions such as Mid-Market, Strategic Sales, and Base Management.
- Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms and sales performance dashboards.
- Experience in regional go-to-market strategy, market segmentation, and resource planning.
- Track record of building high-performing leadership teams in a growth-oriented sales environment.
