The right candidate will set short and long-term sales strategies to support and grow an existing client base, while also looking to aggressively expand through new customer acquisition. We are looking for someone familiar with a variety of the multi-family industry’s concepts, practices and procedures, relying on extensive experience, contacts, and prior success to accomplish goals.

Responsibilities

  • Generate leads and build relationships by organizing daily work schedule to call on existing and potential customers
  • Meet or exceed agreed upon revenue targets for personally assigned territory through combination of renewal and new business sales
  • Expected to renew existing book of business in assigned territory at a rate of 85% or higher annually
  • Establish sales objectives by forecasting and establishing sales objectives, relying on an ever evolving understanding of assigned territory
  • Improve sales volume and product mix by keeping current with changing trends, economic indicators and competitors
  • Develop plan to ensure achievement of personal target, aligning with company sales policies and strategies
  • Meet with customers to discuss their evolving needs and to assess the quality of our company's relationship with them
  • Provide periodic report of field sales success and communicate results to superiors
  • Provide customer service support and conflict resolution for escalated matters brought about by customers

Requirements

  • Three or more years of multifamily vendor sales experience in managing sales in a corporate setting
  • Proven record of success with the entire sales process
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Ability to travel at least 20% of the time

Pay

This is a base + uncapped commission role that will land in the low to mid-200Ks.
