About the role
Ready for your next adventure in beautiful Broadstairs? Briar House is looking for an experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our fantastic team. As an RVN with us, you’ll have the opportunity to get involved in a variety of nursing tasks, including anaesthetic monitoring, medical nursing, nurse clinics, emergency care, and more. We undertake all first-opinion surgery as well as orthopaedics, allowing you to develop your skills and broaden your experience.
You’ll be part of an incredible team, including experienced RVNs, certificate-holding vets, highly trained VCAs, a dedicated Customer Care team, and an experienced Hospital Management team—all working together to deliver outstanding patient care.
Responsibilities
- Monitor anaesthesia and assist in surgeries
- Provide medical nursing and emergency care
- Conduct nurse clinics
- Support and coach nursing and support teams
- Engage in clinical coaching and professional development
Requirements
- Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) qualification
- Strong clinical skills and confidence in emergency situations
- Genuine passion for patient care
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Compassionate and empathetic approach
- Desire to learn, develop, and progress

Pay
Salary up to £33,000, dependent on experience.
Schedule
- 40 hours per week
- 1:6 weekends
