RV Service Technician

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive diagnostic testing, repairs, and maintenance on RVs, including electrical, appliance, carpentry, and plumbing systems.
• Install and upgrade accessories and components, transforming RVs into dream machines.
• Collaborate with the service department to obtain work authorizations and factory approvals for warranty repairs.
• Keep track of materials and equipment used, ensuring efficiency and accuracy in every job.
• Deliver a stellar pre-delivery inspection experience, providing walk-through demonstrations that leave customers in awe.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as an RV service technician.
• Seasoned pro in RV construction, systems, and components.
• Unparalleled diagnostic and repair abilities across a wide range of RV systems and components.
• Expertise in reading and interpreting technical manuals and diagrams.
• Impeccable attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Professional appearance and presence that makes a lasting impression.
• Exceptional commitment to customer service.
• Safety-conscious, adhering to workplace guidelines and maintaining a clean workspace.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
• ASE/RVIA certifications are a plus.
• Valid driver's license clear of suspensions for 3+ years.
• Must successfully pass a background and drug screen.

Working Conditions

• Primarily work in the service shop.
• Extended periods of standing, walking, and bending.
• Heavy equipment or objects may need lifting or moving.
• Tight spaces and heights navigated with ease.
• Exposure to loud noises, fumes, or chemicals, with safety precautions in place.

Working Hours

• Work a 12-hour shift, 3-4 days per week (with 3 or 4 days off per week).
• All service positions will operate on a 7-day schedule starting in 2024.

About the Role

• You'll earn up to $50 per flat rate hour, with a chance to earn an additional $6 bonus per billed hour.
