RV Service Technician
About the role
Camping World is seeking a Service Technician to join our growing team. Ideal candidates possess advanced diagnostic and repair skills for RV coach systems, generators, and coach body repairs. Strong attention to detail, self-motivation, and expertise in mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and maintenance issues are essential.
Responsibilities
- Provide and document complete diagnostic tests and repair or replacement services to customers
- Perform electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and appliance maintenance
- Track all parts and materials used in repairs or replacements
- Keep supervisor apprised of work progress
- Ensure final work product meets quality standards and is inspected by supervisor or designee
- Maintain a safe and clean work area for customers and coworkers
Requirements
- College or technical school certification in a trade field (HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Maintenance, etc.) is helpful but not required
- At least 1 year of service technician experience or related fields preferred
- RVIA certification helpful but not required
- Potential exposure to heights and hazards related to working with electrical and welding equipment
- Possible exposure to environmental conditions including heat, cold, humidity, noise, dust, and wetness
- Prolonged periods of standing, stooping, crawling, and bending
- Must furnish own hand/shop tools
- Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs. and/or move up to 50 lbs. with assistive devices
- Valid driver's license preferred
Qualifications
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must have excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team
- Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Skills
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
- Experience with RV coach systems, generators, and body repairs
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and diagrams
- Good customer service skills

Pay
The pay range for this role is $22.00 - $53.48 per hour. Camping World offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and more!
