RV Cleaner and Wash Pad Assistant

About the Role

Our busy family-owned business is looking to add additional members to the “Wash Pad Team.” This position involves thoroughly cleaning new and used inventory, maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of units on the lot and in the showroom, and immaculately cleaning sold boats and RVs before delivery to new owners. Other duties may include applying protective sealants, washing customer vehicles, cleaning company loaner cars and golf carts, and occasionally working offsite at RV and boat shows.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of inventory on the lot
• Thoroughly clean sold boats, RVs, and vehicles inside and out before delivery to customers
• Wash customer tow vehicles as needed
• Follow dealership policy to ensure client vehicles are handled with care and operated safely
• Coordinate with sales and service departments to ensure timely deliveries
• Operate cleaning equipment such as pressure washers, air hoses, vacuums, and brushes to meet standards
• Apply cleaning, protective, and restorative products to maintain the quality of inventory
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Previous detailing or cleaning experience preferred

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for extended periods
• Capable of lifting, pushing, or pulling up to 50 lbs regularly
• Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
• Manual dexterity for operating cleaning tools and equipment
• Balance and care when working around vehicles, boats, and RVs

Pay

$16.50/hr base with additional performance-based incentives available for full-time employees. Average of $19+/hr equivalent after incentives applied.

Schedule

Full-time, Tuesday - Saturday 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
