About the role
Southeast Rehabilitation & Skilled Care Center in North Easton is hiring a Laundry Assistant for an 8a-4p schedule on weekdays at $16 per hour with weekly pay.
Responsibilities
- Maintain laundry in an efficient, clean, orderly, safe and sanitary manner to ensure clean clothing and linen are always available to meet the needs of the residents and facility.
- All laundry must be done according to sanitation procedures, safety precautions, infection control and universal precautions.
- Follow washing instructions on each article of clothing/linen to ensure maximum care and cleanliness.
- Label unmarked clothes.
- Restock linens and return residents’ articles of clothing to their rooms.
Requirements
- A High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Prior experience working in housekeeping/laundry in a skilled nursing facility or other related medical facility preferred.
