As a Rural Carrier Associate, you'll deliver mail and packages in rural and suburban areas, enjoying variety, autonomy, and a steady pace. You may use your own vehicle if a postal vehicle is not provided. While you're guaranteed work one day a week, you'll need to be available up to six. With daytime hours, minimal supervision, and a flexible structure, this is a strong entry point for a long-term USPS career.
