Rural 1st Construction Specialist

Responsibilities
- Activates construction loans by setting up loan budgets, disbursement systems, and files aligned with approved terms.
- Reviews, analyzes, approves, and disburses construction loan draws, including coordinating inspections, change orders, and budget line items.
- Collaborates with borrowers, builders, inspectors, and internal partners to keep construction projects and loan servicing moving forward and on schedule.
- Maintains complete, accurate documentation, system records, and reporting to support effective loan servicing and portfolio oversight.
- Servicing of the construction loan portfolio while delivering consistent, high-quality customer service.
- Completes routine assignments independently using established procedures and sound judgment.
- Applies working knowledge to resolve common issues and identifies when to seek guidance.
- Communicates clearly with teammates and internal partners to support coordinated work.
- Organizes workload to meet deadlines and deliver consistent, reliable outcomes.
- Contributes ideas that strengthen processes, accuracy, and effectiveness.
- Uses available tools and resources to resolve straightforward issues and improve confidence.
Requirements
- A High School Diploma/GED with 5 years relevant experience required.
- A Bachelor's Degree with 1 year relevant experience preferred.
- Strong customer service experience preferred.
Qualifications
- Existing NMLS registration under the SAFE Act, or the ability to obtain the same upon hire, and maintenance of a status in good standing during employment.
Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Pay
The salary range for this position is estimated to be $54,412.00 – $100,487.00 annualized, which reflects the company’s current estimate of the potential compensation range at the time of posting. This salary range reflects the anticipated compensation for this position and represents one component of the total rewards package. Final compensation will be determined based on factors such as experience, skills, education, qualifications, and allotted budget.

This role requires a Full Time schedule with 0% - 5% travel.
