Responsibilities
- Maintain and manage stockrooms and storage areas for event, faculty, and office supplies, ensuring items are available when needed.
- Monitor inventory levels, place replenishment orders, and shop for items that cannot be delivered, including unique event-specific items.
- Fulfill requests for breakroom and office supplies in a timely manner.
- Maintain an organized system for tracking the location of supplies and equipment.
- Assist Operational Coordinators in the preparation and execution of campus events, including setup and teardown during the day, after-hours, and on weekends.
- Move, load, and unload furniture and equipment; set up tables and chairs; transport food, beverages, and supplies to event sites.
- Restore and reconfigure event sites after events conclude.
- Support the School’s performing arts programs by assisting with set assembly and working as a stagehand during events.
- Provide day-to-day operational support across campus, responding to service requests and assisting with routine facility readiness tasks to ensure a safe and welcoming environment.
- Safely operate School-owned vehicles to transport supplies, equipment, and materials across campus and to off-site locations as needed.
Requirements
- High School diploma is required; college degree preferred.
- Must be available to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings, nights, and weekends.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license, maintain a driving record that meets the School’s vehicle insurance requirements, and remain eligible to operate School-owned vehicles.
- Experience in a customer service setting preferred, with demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with parents, employees, and administration.
- Must be able to walk and stand for long periods, climb stairs, navigate uneven terrain and hillside pathways, and carry, transport, and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Must be comfortable working indoors and outdoors in a variety of weather conditions.
- Requires dependability, reliability, punctuality, flexibility, adaptability, problem-solving, decision-making, and good judgment.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing, and to read, understand, and follow detailed instructions, safety procedures, and operational communications.
- Ability to work on ladders and perform duties in active event and operational environments.
Pay
Anticipated compensation is $23.00 - $25.00 per hour depending on experience.
