RTP-Research Trainee
About the role
A Research Trainee at Mayo Clinic is a temporary position with the primary purpose to provide training and education in research. A clear statement of the educational benefit for the applicant must accompany the appointment request.
Responsibilities
- Train in the research program of a Mayo Clinic principal investigator.
- Proof of English proficiency is required for J-1 Short-Term Scholars, Research Scholars, Professors, Specialists, and Student Interns sponsored by Mayo Clinic.
Qualifications
- Must have a Bachelor's degree and be working toward Master's, M.D., Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree in a field deemed relevant by the program.
- If in the 5- or 6-year European medical degree program, candidate must have completed the 3rd year, and be enrolled in the 4th year of studies and should provide enrollment verification.
