RT / Respiratory Therapist

RTs work with a diverse and multi-disciplinary team to perform assessments, treatments, and patient/family education to maintain and/or improve respiratory function in patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide efficient evaluations to assist physician in creating or updating patient’s Plan of Care.
• Independently carry out individualized Plan of Care by performing quality therapy services, including administering medication, as ordered by physician.
• Provide emergency airway management when necessary.

Requirements

• Current NY RT License and Registration
• CPR Certification
• EMR Competence
• State Required Medical Documentations for work in a Skilled Nursing Facility (Physical, TB Test, MMRV Vaccine Record or Titers)
• Valid Proof of Identity and Work Authorization
• Malpractice/Liability Insurance (if applicable)
