RT/CRT Technician

About the role

This is a full-time position for a Non-Destructive Evaluation (NDE) Inspector located around Pittsburgh, PA. Travel in Western PA, Ohio and West Virginia is required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections on job sites using CRT/RT methods and other NDE methods such as ultrasonic, magnetic particles, and liquid penetrant.
• Create reports based on inspection findings.
• Ensure that safety and quality standards are met.
• Collaborate with other team members as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be qualified and certified to ASNT in the following NDT methods that will be utilized: CRT/RT (Level II that must hold previous or applicable certification to ASNT).
• Certified in one or more of the following NDT methods in conjunction with CRT/RT: VT, PT, MT, PAUT (Preferred, not required).
• Excellent knowledge of industry codes and standards, such as ASME, API, AWS, and ASTM, pertaining to various forms of non-destructive testing.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
• Excellent communication skills to clearly and effectively communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Proof of classroom and OJT hours (this is a requirement).
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe.
• Available as needed days, nights, weekends, holidays, and potential travel to support other offices.
