About the Role

We are seeking an RSPO SCC auditor to join our team as a crucial part of our sustainability efforts. This role involves planning and conducting RSPO SCC audits to assess compliance with sustainability standards in the palm oil supply chain.

Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct RSPO SCC audits for organizations within the palm oil supply chain.
• Assess compliance with RSPO SCC standards and identify areas of non-compliance.
• Perform risk assessments and evaluate the effectiveness of internal control systems.
• Prepare comprehensive audit reports detailing findings and recommendations.
• Communicate audit results to clients.
• Stay updated on RSPO SCC requirements and industry best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the integrity of the certification process.
• Manage multiple audit projects simultaneously and meet strict deadlines.
• Travel to various locations to conduct on-site audits.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Agriculture, or related fields.
• RSPO SCC Lead Auditor certification (required or preferred).
• ISO 9001 certification from an internationally accredited institution (e.g., PECB or IRCA).
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in auditing or a related area.
• Proven experience with RSPO SCC audits or similar sustainability certifications.
• Strong knowledge of auditing techniques and RSPO supply chain certification standards.
• Excellent risk assessment and data analysis skills.
• Outstanding report writing and communication skills.
• Proficiency in time management and multi-project organization.
• Deep understanding of the sustainable palm oil industry and supply chain management.
• Familiarity with environmental and social sustainability practices.
• Fluency in English; knowledge of Spanish is a plus.
• Willingness to travel frequently.
