What You'll Do

• Manage and oversee all aspects of the company's Radiation Safety Program
• Ensure compliance with NRC, Agreement State, federal, state, and local regulations
• Maintain radioactive material licenses and regulatory documentation
• Serve as the primary liaison with regulatory agencies and inspectors
• Conduct radiation safety training and mentoring for employees
• Perform audits, inspections, and program assessments
• Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions
• Develop and enhance safety policies, procedures, and best practices
• Support field operations with on-site radiation safety guidance when required
• Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement throughout the organization

What We're Looking For

• Required Qualifications:
• Current qualifications to serve as a Radiation Safety Officer (RSO)
• Strong knowledge of NRC and/or Agreement State regulations
• Experience managing radiation safety programs and compliance requirements
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions
• Strong problem-solving and leadership abilities
• Willingness to travel occasionally and support field operations when needed
• Preferred Qualifications:
• Industrial radiography experience
• Experience managing radioactive material licenses
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience
• ASNT certifications or additional NDT experience a plus
• Experience working in construction, energy, manufacturing, or industrial environments
