About the Role

As the world’s largest manufacturer of fire equipment, we ensure our vehicles, production teams, and service personnel are ready to keep communities safe. The Pre-Sales Administrative Coordinator will meet with dealers to ensure specifications are correct and all necessary components are in order.
Responsibilities
- Support Rosenbauer’s Mission, Vision, and Values as an essential duty of the position.
- Gather bid information from dealers via email or phone during the presale process.
- Obtain bid quotes for commercial and custom chassis according to customer specifications.
- Send specifications to the draftsman to create drawings for bids.
- Coordinate with special pricing teams to incorporate special pricing into specifications.
- Organize and maintain bid proposal sheets and dealer folders, ensuring accuracy and accountability for the Vice President’s review.
- Verify that all information from request forms is complete before compiling and sending requested details to dealers.
- Complete Bid Bonds, Certificates of Insurance, Turn Radius reports, and Amp reports.
- Manage truck files in the company drive relevant to Pre-Sale and Stock Trucks.
- Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by management to meet company needs.

- Ability to manage multiple and diverse projects, including planning, prioritization, problem-solving, and decision-making with minimal supervision.
- Collaborate with the Quote Writer to complete daily tasks.
- Adaptable, versatile, and detail-oriented.
- Professional interaction with customers, external business leaders, and vendors.
- Ability to read and follow specifications.
- Basic computer skills, including proficiency in spreadsheet formulas, queries, tables, merges, and special reports.
- Self-motivated, accurate, and able to work with minimal supervision.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
Qualifications
- Required Education: High School Diploma or GED.
- Preferred Experience: Technical knowledge related to fire trucks.
Skills
- Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence and speak effectively before groups.
- Mathematical Skills: Ability to calculate figures such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages.
- Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense to carry out detailed written or oral instructions and solve problems involving concrete variables in standardized situations.
- Computer Skills: Intermediate PC functions, including troubleshooting.
- Decision-Making: Responsibilities are guided by established methods for problem-solving; decisions are made within these guidelines and reviewed by a supervisor.
