RSD Paint - Night Painter 1

Essential Functions

• Prepare the truck for paint by sanding, grinding, waxing, greasing, and applying body filler.
• Inspect the truck for flaws, dents, or imperfections and compare them to the spec book to ensure standards are met.
• Maintain the condition and quality of your tools.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as required by management to meet the needs of the organization and our members.

Qualifications

• Knowledge, Education, and/or Experience: High school diploma/GED. Strong mechanical and technical ability required. Associates degree in autobody preferred. 2+ years of experience in autobody preferred. Manufacturing experience preferred.
• Skills: Able to read and work from blueprints/spec books. Able to read and understand a tape measure accurately. Able to follow written and verbal directions. Able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
• Abilities: Identify quality issues, recognize changes within the production process, and adjust as needed. Perform simple computer tasks to obtain information/changes related to the build process and/or troubleshoot. Understand and follow all safety policies to promote a safe working environment for all.
